Our Mission:

Ivy Cliff is exclusively charitable and educational, focusing on preserving and communicating history.

2022 Updates

• Preliminary Information Form approved by VDHR at November meeting.  Proceeding with application for National Historic Register.

• Hurt & Profitt conducts archeological survey in area of and surrounding cabin at Ivy Cliff

• Granted  VDHR Threatened Sites Grant  

• The slave dwelling was added to “Virginia’s Most Endangered Historic Places,” by Preservation Virginia.

• Applied for Threatened Sites Program with Virginia Department of Historic Resources (DHR)

• Ivy Cliff, Inc., a Virginia not-for-profit corporation, received 501(c)(3) status from the Internal Revenue Service.
